As the world’s only independent goalie scouting service, The Goalie Guild is dedicated to providing you with in-depth evaluations, scouting reports and updates on pro and amateur goalies across the globe.

The Goalie Guild was founded by Justin Goldman in 2009 with a mission to revive the essence of Medieval Guilds that existed during the Middle Ages. With a philosophy centered around the ideals of documenting and promoting the advancement of the goaltending position, Goldman aims to inspire, educate and consult with people all over the world about the goaltending position, the goalie’s mindset and the evolution of the position.

Like all Medieval Guilds, The Goalie Guild is a haven for dedicated and devout students of the goaltending position. As the founder, Goldman treats every day as an opportunity to learn something new, then he takes the time to document what he has learned to the public. In essence, The Goalie Guild exists to promote the general welfare of the goaltending position.

Goldman’s work aims to reflect his egoless approach to evaluating the position, so that every member is given an opportunity to learn on a daily basis. By using phrases such as “We are all our brother’s keeper,” and others, The Goalie Guild is a haven to respect the culture, history and importance of the position’s influence on the game of hockey.
