Created in 2009 by The Goalie Guild founder Justin Goldman, the free PadsTracker tool offers you an interactive chart that lists every NHL goaltender’s current pad setup. In 2010, lead designer Mathew Abraham was hired to design new graphic templates, all of which are updated on a continual basis during the season. Due to these updates, PadsTracker is a living virtual library and valuable resource for hockey fans everywhere.

In February of 2012, The Goalie Guild announced an exclusive partnership with Pure Goalie to expand the tool by offering viewers a 10-percent discount on goalie equipment, just for checking out the templates. You can find previous PadsTracker charts and templates by using the navigation bar above, or by clicking below. —[ OFFICIAL PADSTRACKER RULES AND DETAILS ]—

– PadsTracker only includes pads worn by NHL goaltenders during regular season and playoff games. It does not include pads worn in practices, preseason games, or training camps. A goaltender must log at least one minute of NHL action in order to be added to the PadsTracker.

– PadsTracker is for private use only. No re-publication is allowed without written consent from The Goalie Guild. All templates were designed from scratch by lead designer Mathew Abraham, and they may not be used without permission.

PadsTracker is sponsored exclusively by Pure Goalie. No templates may be published on other websites unless you receive written consent from The Goalie Guild. PadsTracker templates are copyright images, creative imagery designed by an independent contractor for exclusive use.

– If you see a mistake or have an update for us to make, please leave comments below the PadsTracker grid, or by posting in our Goalie Guild Gear Central Facebook group. Please note the game, the goaltender’s full name, the make and model of the updated equipment they are using, and if possible, include a link to a photo so that our staff can create accurate templates.
