MISSION STATEMENT: The Goalie Guild’s Goaltending Prospects Review is dedicated to providing hockey coaches, scouts and general managers with year-round insight and updates on quality goalie prospects. Our mission is to provide college and junior hockey teams with an independently published report with accurate information on quality goaltenders that are dedicated to playing at higher levels.

FOR THE GOALIES: The purpose of the Goaltending Prospects Review is to bridge the gap between amateur goalies and hockey programs across North America. With this in mind, we provide dedicated goaltenders with an opportunity to receive valuable exposure. Our goalie-only scouting report gives approved prospects with the much-needed chance to have their stories told and their voices heard.

FOR THE COACHES: The other purpose of the Goaltending Prospects Review is to alleviate many of the roadblocks and hurdles associated with the goalie scouting process. We do this by helping them uncover and track quality goaltending talent by solving issues such as geographical challenges, financial and time limitations, a lack of viewing opportunities and a lack of consistent updates.

FOR THE READERS: Each Goaltending Prospects Review issue is free to view and download, making it very easy for coaches and readers to learn about quality goalie prospects. We categorize goaltenders (male and female) by age, and then by their current save percentage. GOLD goalies hold a .920 save percentage or above. SILVER goalies hold a .910 to .919 save percentage, BRONZE goalies hold a mark between .900 and .909, while JADE goaltenders hold a .899 save percentage and below.

PRICING AND COSTS: Competitive goaltenders (ages 13-21) are eligible to apply for the Goaltending Prospects Review. Once approved by The Goalie Guild’s staff, there is an initial $75 one-time fee to create your entry. After that, it is only $10 per month to renew your entry for each issue. If you commit to six issues, the cost is only an additional $50. If you commit to a full year, the cost is only an additional $100. Payments are made through our online store.

HOW TO APPLY: To submit an application, simply fill out our online submission form. Once we receive your submission, we will review it and contact you with any added information needed to approve your entry. Once approved, you will be directed to pay for the entry and then you will be locked in.

APPROVAL PROCESS: Every goaltender that applies for the Goaltending Prospects Review will be approved by The Goalie Guild. Once approved, goalies will be interviewed by The Goalie Guild in order to complete their entry. Goaltenders included in each issue will have a chance to publish information on their talents, strengths and recent performances.

OUR DISTRIBUTION: Each issue of the Goaltending Prospects Review is sent directly to every Junior, Major-Junior, CIS and NCAA team located in North America. That includes the Ontario Hockey League, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Western Hockey League, United States Hockey League and all of the Junior-A and Junior-B leagues in Canada. We also make the journal more accessible by publishing each issue right here on our websites.
