AUDIO: TEAM RANKINGS EXPLAINED
On June 11, 2011, The Goalie Guild proudly published the initial sneak-peek release of the NHL TEAM RANKINGS scouting feature. This premium feature is an excellent guide and monthly update on the current ranking of every NHL team’s goaltending depth. Please note that this feature will be available for Premium members only, but will publish the Top-5 teams for Basic members.
Goaltenders included below are part of an NHL team’s system, so it includes signed and drafted prospects that still have their rights retained by the organization. Please keep in mind that these rankings are not tied to one statistial factor, rather incorporate four individual categories that were individually ranked, then weighed against each other to create one master ranking.
As you can see by clicking here, the NHL Team Rankings include an analysis of the following categories: Coaching, Opportunity, Talent and Quantity. All four categories are weighed in regards to their influence on a team’s ability to successfully develop goaltenders, and done in a manner that reflects what we feel is considered as quality depth. Please contact us at any time if you see a mistake or an omission. Click on one of the pages below or the shield above to download the current release in PDF format.
